It didn’t take long in his education for Dr. Herr to realize that he had a real passion for the dental
field,
particularly implant dentistry, oral surgery, and prosthodontics! He really enjoys working closely with
patients at Clear Coast Dental to help them achieve their personal smile-related goals. To learn more about

Dr. Andrew Luccio is a South Shore native, and he’s proud to be serving patients and families from all over
the New Bedford community. His passion for continuing education and staying up-to-date with the newest
dental technologies will be sure to benefit you and your loved ones’ smiles! Keep reading below to learn

Lori has been a member of our team since 2002. In her front office position, her responsibility involves
managing all the private insurance issues. One of Lori’s favorite things is to help our patients get the
dental treatment they want and need by showing each one of them their financial options. It is her goal to
make sure our patients achieve the smile and dental health they desire – she is here to help with everyone’s
questions!
Lori has attended several continuing education courses and still does so on a regular basis. She is also
certified in CPR/AED and fluent in Portuguese. In her spare time, she loves to spend quality time with her
husband, children, and family.
Rachel, Dental Assistant
Rachel graduated from a local Dental Assisting program and has been a chairside dental assistant at our
dental office since 2005. She was certified in Radiology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She
also holds certifications in CPR/AED and continues to expand her knowledge in the dental field by completing
continuing education courses. She is also working toward becoming a Certified Dental Assistant. She performs
various jobs at the dental office, including assisting our dentists with numerous procedures, sterilization,
digital X-rays, ordering supplies, assisting at the front desk, and providing whitening services.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and her close friends. An avid animal lover,
she has expanded her family with two dogs! She also loves camping, traveling, and exploring new things.
Sandra, Dental Assistant
Sandra became a dental assistant in 2004 after completing a New England Dental Assisting program. She has
worked at this office since 2010 with her twin sister Rachel. She is certified in Radiology and CPR and
attends continuing education classes on a regular basis. Her job consists of assisting the doctor,
sterilizing instruments, working in the lab, and helping the hygienists.
Sandra grew up in Fairhaven and now lives in New Bedford. She enjoys her career and working with patients.
In
her free time, she likes going for walks, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Michele, Appointment Coordinator
Michele has been our appointment coordinator since October of 2016. She is very friendly and always welcomes
everyone with a smile. Some of her responsibilities include scheduling appointments, greeting patients upon
arrival, and helping patients over the phone. She is enjoying meeting and getting to know everyone! One of
her passions is to provide excellent patient service.
Michele attends dental education courses and is interested in learning everything she can to help our
patients. She received her Dental Assisting License in January of 2015 and is certified in CPR. She loves
spending time with family and friends outside of work.
Brittanie, Dental Hygienist
Brittanie has been a registered dental hygienist since May of 2017. She began working for our office in
November of 2017. In addition to having her dental hygiene license, she is licensed in the administration of
local anesthesia and has her CPR certification too.
Brittanie graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island and plans to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in
Dental Hygiene. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and the outdoors.
SHANA, Dental Hygienist
Shana has worked in the field of dentistry for well over a decade now! As for her studies, she attended Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School as well as Bristol Community College. Today, she has her dental hygienist license, her CPR certification, and her Permit L for local anesthesia. When she was asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared that it’s providing patients with great dental care and helping patients who have experienced dental-related anxiety feel calm and comfortable.
Shana has a Maltipoo at home named Nala, and she loves taking her on walks and hiking trails on her days off. She also loves spending time with family and going to the beach in the summer. Here’s a fun fact about her: she’s a licensed cosmetologist as well!
Lindsey, DENTAL HYGIENIST
Lindsey’s career in dentistry began over three years ago at Bristol Community College. In addition to earning her associate degree in dental hygiene, she obtained her local anesthesia license and her CPR certification! Now, she loves using everything she has learned to help the patients in her treatment chair achieve their dental health goals.
During the evenings and on weekends, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also has lots of interests outside of dentistry, including crocheting and reading. Here’s something you might not know about her: she can play the violin!
